Fill the tank with distilled water to the “Max” line. Replace the nozzle cap. Turn the power switch to the ON position. The light will illuminate indicating that the steamer is on. After approximately 1 minute, steam will start to emerge from the steamer. Keeping the steamer vertical; you may now steam away any wrinkles you may have! As the unit runs out of water, it will automatically shut off. You will notice this happens when the light shuts off; however, the power switch will remain in the ON position. If you want to continue steaming clothes, turn the power switch to the OFF position and start at the beginning. Once you are finished, turn the steamer off and remove the plug from the outlet.
